Judul : Pengaruh Jarak Antar Plat pada Generator HHO Model Wet Cell terhadap Debit dan Efisiensi (Effect of Plates Gap of Wet Cells HHO Generator to the Flowrate and Efficiency)

Abstraksi : Minyak bumi semakin menipis sehingga diperlukan bentuk energi lain yang mudah diaplikasikan untuk transportasi. Salah satu energi alternatif terbarukan yang saat ini banyak diteliti adalah HHO atau brown gas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh jarak antar plat terhadap efisiensi generator HHO. Pengujian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan 400 cc air. Elektroda yang dipakai berupa plat aluminium dengan ukuran 60 × 60 × 0.5 mm3. Variasi jarak antar plat 5 mm, 10 mm, dan 15 mm. Dengan variasi tegangan input 3,5; 6; 7,5; 9 Volt. Pengujian meliputi pengujian performa dan efisiensi generator HHO. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa laju produksi gas HHO yang terbesar dihasilkan dengan jarak antar plat 5 mm yang menghasilkan HHO sebesar 5 cc/min dengan daya input 5,4 Watt. Sedangkan efisiensi generator tertinggi dihasilkan pada jarak antar plat 15 mm, yang mampu mencapai efisiensi 54%. Kata kunci: Generator HHO, wet cell, dan jarak antar plat abstract Depletion of oil reserves encourage research on new energy for transportation. One alternative renewable energy that current widely researched is HHO or brown gas. This study aims to determine the influence of gap between the plate against the HHO generator flowrate and efficiency. Tests performed experimentally using 400 cc of water. Aluminum plate is used as an electrode with a size of 60 × 60 × 0.5 mm3. Variation of the distance between the plate are: 5 mm, 10 mm, and 15 mm. With input voltage variation 3.5; 6; 7.5; 9 Volt. Testing includes the performance and efficiency of the HHO generator. The results obtained from this study is that the largest production rate of HHO gas generated by the gap between the plates 5 mm which produces HHO of 5 cc/min with input power 5,4 Watt. While the highest generator efficiency resulting in the distance between the plate 15 mm, which is able to achieve 54%. Key words: HHO Generator, wet cell, and plates gap

Judul : Pemanfaatan Ampas Kedelai dan Onggok Terfermentasi Rhizopus Sp dalam Konsentrat Sapi Potong untuk Pertambahan Bobot Badan, Konversi dan Palatabilitas Pakan Utilization of Soybean Husk and Cassava Waste Fermented Rhizopus Sp in Concentrate Beef Cattle for Body Weight Gain, Feed Conversion and Palatability

Abstraksi : In Indonesia, there are many waste products that can be used for animal feed. The feed material can be used for cattle because the material is still contained nutrients needed by cattle, besides that, it is relatively cheap and its use does not compete with humans. Among the various by-products of companies that can be used to feed beef cattle is the soybean husk (tempe manufacturing residues) and gamblong (waste manufacture of tapioca). The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization of soybean husk and gamblong fermented Rhizopus Sp in concentrate beef cattle for body weight gain, feed conversion and palatability. 12 Simental beef cattle reared for 30 days stratified by treatment P0 = concentrate 100%, P1 = concentrate of 90% + aot 10%, P2 = concentrate of 80% + aot 20%, P3 = concentrate 70% + aot 30%. The results showed that the addition of concentrate to the soybean husk and gamblong fermented soy Rhizophus Sp give effect not significantly different (P > 0.05) to PPB (P3 = 30.76 kg/head), feed conversion (P3 = 10.54) and palatability of feed (P3 = 10.8995 kg/head/day).The results showed that the addition of concentrate to the soybean husk and gamblong fermented Rhizophus Sp in concentrate up to 30% has the best results for weight gain, feed conversion and palatability. Abstraksi : abstract Green diamine B (DGB) is a synthetic green dye used in industry sasirangan. This dye potentially negative impact on the environment that come from the rest of the staining process. One method that can be used to overcome this problem is photocatalyst method. In this research, will be shown capability of this method by using ZnO as photocatalyst material in degradate (DGB) under solar light. For optimum result be used flat mirror reflactant. Result shown that ZnO can be used to degradate DGB waste by using solar light. Optimum condition to degrade in 25 mL of 0.2 × 10-3% (w / v) use 0.8 grams of ZnO for 2 hours. Judul : Evaluasi Suplementasi Minyak Ikan dalam Ransum terhadap Reproduksi Ternak Kambing

Abstraksi : The aim of this research was to know supllementation effect of fish oil on feed to reproduction of goat. The material used is 9 head of cattle goat. Feed used is elephant grass cv Moot and concentrates of KOP SAE. The method used is the method of trial with randomized block design 3 treatments, 3 replications. The treatment is introduced; R0 = elephant grass and concentrate, R1 = basal feed + 2.5% fish oil, R2 = feed basal + 5% fish oil. The research variables include: macroscopic and microscopic semen quality. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and if there is a difference JND test continued. The results showed that fish oil supplementation provides highly significant effect (P < 0.01) in the volume of semen (R2 = 0.93 ml), and the viability of semen (R2 = 77%), and significant effect (P < 0.05) against the semen pH (R2 = 6.9), and the concentration of semen (R2 = 158.79 × 108 sperm per ml of semen). Based on the results of the study concluded that fish oil supplementation of 2.5% gives the best results on the quality of both the macroscopic and microscopic semen on goats. So it is advisable to introducing fish oil as much as 2.5% in the ration to improve reproductive goats.. Key words: fish oil, reproduction, goat.

Judul : Kajian Pengaruh Ekstrak Bunga Matahari (Thitonia diversifolia L.) terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Lettuce (Lactuca Sativa)

Abstraksi : This research was aimed to obtained the best N concentrations media bunga matahari extract on production of lettuce. This research was conducted in plastic house on, Jatirejoyoso village, Kepanjen, Malang on Pebruari until Mei 2014. The experiment used Completely of Randomized Design with 6 treatments and replicated three times. Every treatments consists of 6 sample of plants on 1 bag of plants. The treatments consists of 5 concentrations of liquid bunga matahari extracts and 1 control (A-B Mix Joro). The treatments which is used consists of E1; 50 ppm N, E2; 75 ppm N, E3; 100 ppm N, E4; 125 ppm N, E5; 250 ppm N dan E6; A-B mix JORO (equal with 250 ppm N). Result of this research showed that the used media of liquid bunga matahari extract can substituted hydroponic commercial of nutrition (A-B Mix Joro). Media of liquid bunga matahari extract was given positively resulted on quality of organoleptic test (texture, taste and color). Key words: N concentrations, Bunga Matahari, Lettuce

Studi ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan sistem saluran drainase yang berada di dalam maupun di sekeliling kawasan pergudangan agar sistem drainase tersebut dapat berfungsi secara optimal di kawasaan pergudangan PT Wahana Central Purabox. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis hidrologi guna menghitung debit aliran, kapasitas, dan dimensi saluran drainase di kawasan industri pergudangan. Abstraksi : FADs, or Fish aggregating device (FAD) is one type of fishing tools are installed at sea, both shallow marine and deep sea. The installation is intended to attract schools of fish that gather around FADs, making it easy to catch fish. The research objective was to determine the type and number of catches in the sea FADs with natural attractor and combination in Puger Jember, East Java. Tools and materials used are sea FADs in using a natural attractor made of palm leaf midrib and attractor combinations that combine coconut leaf midrib with a series of sewage nets and heavy gauge payang fish. Data analysis method is descriptive method is to encapsulate, add up and make a percentage of the catch so that the data is more informative. During the arrest operation around FADs deep sea species of fish caught is kind of large pelagic fish such as Cakalang (Katsuwonis Pelamis), Lemadang (Coryphaena hippurus), Tenggiri (Scomberomorus), Sunglir (Elagatis bipinnulatus), Marlin (Makaira nigircan) and Tuna Sirip Biru (Thunnus thynnus) and Baby tuna. The amount of the catch using a natural attractor and the combination is dominated by Cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis), while the percentage of the catch using a natural attractor is the attractor of 39% and a combination of 61% of the total catch. Abstraksi : Since 2009, the Local Government Bojonegoro has implemented one of the concept of sustainable regional development, which is a program “pavingisasi” highway. Where paving is not only used for certain areas, but it is used for highway. The program has won the award SDI (Sustainable Development Initiative) in the series of APEC events (ACIA pacific Economic copration) held in Nusa Dua – Bali Indonesia October 2013. But later revealed many highways with pavingisasi early damage. The purpose of this paper is to identify risk factors, analysis and to knowing risk response in the use of paving blocks in highway pavement. From the analysis it is known that the highest risk of causing a decrease in the effective age is less careful planning, the less precise method of implementation, supervision and control are less accurate, and stakeholders who are not cooperative in which the appropriate response is avoidance. Problems that occur in the production process is the disability of the bending process by 8.30% that of the research must be done to improve the quality of the bending process. The method used in this study is 8 step problem solving and Seven tools. 8 step method starts with identifying the problems that happen to look up an existing problem solving and 7 tools performed again be used as a tool to analyze the disability-related bending process. Based on the analysis of the highest handicap of the bending process is kind of disability wringkle amounted to 7.20% can be lowered to 4.11% with improvements made was the addition of standardization in the process of bending and manufacture of tools on the bending machine. Abstraksi : Concrete is a construction material that always used with level of needs always increase every years. Consequently, concrete forming material sespecially cement pricesin creased continuously. Based on this problem, research to reduce the need for cement by adding additives containing silica have been carried out, one of them is rice husk with good result. However, the addition ofrice husk as has additive in concrete stillimited to concrete on 20 MPa or more but people are stillusing a mixture of 1 pc:2 ps: 3 kr to make concrete for simple construction and multistory buildings. Therefore, this study conducted to determine the optimum percentage ofrice husk ash when added to concrete mixture 1 pc: 2 ps: 3 kr. Concrete for ming material consist of cement type 1, Lumajang sand and Madura gravel. While rice husk ash taken from the combustion ofrice husksinbrick production. Percentage ofrice husk ashused as additive material are 5%, 10% and 15% with curing periods for compressive strength test are 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, 28 days and 56 days. Laboratory test results showed that the sand and gravel used already qualifyandsilica content of rice husk ash is 46.7%. Results of compressive strength of the concrete with rice husk ash showed that the addition of 5% rice husk ash is an optimal percent agetoin crease the compressive strength of concrete with compressive streng thin creasing with adding of curing periods.
